What will your day be like?

A typical day at the Folk School is busy if you would like it to be! You are scheduled to be in class 6 hours each day but you are welcome to stay in the studios longer. You are also encouraged to take a break from your creative endeavors to explore the beauty of Camp McDowell. Take a hike on one of our many trails with a group or on your own. Enjoy rocking on the porch or relaxing on a comfortable sofa next to the fire. There will be opportunities to meet other students socially and find out what they are working on--you never know who you might sit next to at lunch or dinner. Our music instructors and students are happy to play for the group in the evening--enjoy a beer or a glass of wine while you listen!
